Georgia assists with the administration, social media and production elements of events and rehearsals of the Music Performance Unit at UNSW.
Georgia is a harpist, teacher and arranger. After discovering the instrument at school, Georgia continued her study of the harp with Louise Johnson at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, and later, New York, where she completed her Master of Music with international harp virtuoso, Sivan Magen.
Georgia has appeared as concerto soloist the North Sydney Orchestra (conducted by UNSW Orchestra Conductor Steven Hillinger) amongst other local Sydney orchestras. She has also performed as Guest Principal and Tutti Harp with the Sydney Symphony, Queensland Symphony, Canberra Symphony and Opera Australia orchestras, as well as the Omega Ensemble. In addition, Georgia is a founding member of the Australian Harp Quartet (AHQ), Australia's only quartet of pedal harpists, and was member of the duo Lawergren & Lowe with soprano Susannah Lawergren, where Georgia developed her enthusiasm for arranging for the harp, in particular opera arias.
As well as performing, Georgia has arranged for Universal Music Australia, worked as a programmer with ABC Classic, in the SSO Philanthropy team, and runs a teaching studio where she is big on providing adult beginner musicians with more performance opportunities!
